Yes. Our incense is made for traditional practices such as offering, prayer, and meditation. It is solid incense made from botanical ingredients, without a bamboo core or synthetic perfume
Is your incense really made in Tibet using traditional formulas?
Yes. Lhasa Remedy incense is handmade in Tibet using traditional Tibetan incense formulas and botanical ingredients such as woods, herbs, resins, and spices.
Do you use synthetic fragrance oils or dip the sticks in perfume?
No. Our incense is not perfume-dipped and contains no synthetic fragrance oils. Its aroma comes naturally from the botanicals blended into the incense itself.
Does your incense have a bamboo core?
No. Our sticks are solid incense throughout, with no bamboo core. What burns is the botanical incense blend itself.
Which incense should I choose for offering, prayer, or meditation?
For offering and Buddhist practice, Buddha’s Mandala is a beautiful choice. For prayer, meditation, and a more grounding daily practice, Potala Palace is a great place to start.
Why does Lhasa Remedy cost more than typical incense?
Because it is made very differently. Our incense uses botanical materials rather than synthetic fragrance oils, is solid instead of built around a bamboo core, and is handmade in Tibet in small batches using traditional formulas and a process that can take hundreds of hours. We’re not trying to make the cheapest incense stick — we’re preserving a slower, more ingredient-led way of making incense.
How long does shipping take?
Most U.S. orders arrive in about 3–7 business days, including 1–2 business days for processing and 2–5 business days in transit.
We keep inventory in two U.S. warehouses, so many American orders ship domestically for faster delivery.
International orders are generally shipped from Tibet and usually arrive in around 8–17 business days, including processing time.
You’ll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.
Depending on stock availability, some U.S. orders may also ship directly from Tibet. If that happens, delivery may take a little longer than our usual U.S. timeframe.
