Any last questions?

Do you use synthetic fragrance oils or dip the sticks in perfume?

No. Lhasa Remedy incense is not perfume-dipped and we do not use synthetic fragrance oils. The aroma comes from the herbs, woods, resins and other botanicals blended into the incense itself.

Does your incense have a bamboo core?

No. Our incense is solid from end to end, with no bamboo stick inside. We use natural wood as binder to hold the botanical blend together, so what burns is the incense itself rather than incense wrapped around burning bamboo.

What does Tibetan incense smell like?

Tibetan incense is usually more herbal, woody, earthy and resinous than conventional perfumed incense. It may smell less sweet or “fragrance-like” than what you’re used to. Each formula has its own character, but the aroma comes from the botanical blend rather than added perfume.

How strong are the scent and smoke?

Tibetan incense has a noticeable herbal aroma, but it is different from the sharp sweetness of heavily fragranced incense. Like all incense, it produces smoke; thicker sticks will generally produce more than thinner ones. We recommend burning one stick at a time in a well-ventilated room.

Which incense should I start with?

If you’re new to Lhasa Remedy, the All Mine Sampler Set is the easiest place to start. It lets you experience five different Tibetan incense blends before deciding which blend you enjoy most.

Why does Lhasa Remedy cost more than typical incense?

Because it is made very differently. Our incense uses botanical materials rather than synthetic fragrance oils, is solid instead of built around a bamboo core, and is handmade in Tibet in small batches using traditional formulas and a process that can take hundreds of hours. We’re not trying to make the cheapest incense stick — we’re preserving a slower, more ingredient-led way of making incense.

How long does shipping take?

Most U.S. orders arrive in about 3–7 business days, including 1–2 business days for processing and 2–5 business days in transit.

We keep inventory in two U.S. warehouses, so many American orders ship domestically for faster delivery.

International orders are generally shipped from Tibet and usually arrive in around 8–17 business days, including processing time.

You’ll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.

Depending on stock availability, some U.S. orders may also ship directly from Tibet. If that happens, delivery may take a little longer than our usual U.S. timeframe.
