Liam H. The engraved mantra on this holder adds a layer of meaning I didn't expect. Every time I see it, I'm reminded of the tradition behind what I'm doing. It's a beautiful object with real intention.
Thank you so much! We're so glad it found a perfect place in your space. The design was created specifically with Tibetan incense in mind, so we're happy it works!
A
Amelia Ingram The wood quality on this is exceptional — smooth, well-finished, and clearly sourced with care. It holds both sticks and cones securely. A product that's both beautiful and genuinely functional.
B
Bobby Harper I keep this on my desk and it's become a conversation piece every time I'm on a video call. Three colleagues have asked where to get one. I feel like an unofficial ambassador.
We really appreciate this review! Knowing it's found a beloved place on your altar means so much to us.
A
Avery Torres The natural grain of the wood makes each holder slightly different. Mine has a beautiful pattern that I've grown quite attached to. There's a handmade quality to it that I love.
Such kind words — thank you! We hope it serves you for many years of beautiful incense rituals.
R
Roger Brooks I was looking for something more natural-looking than ceramic for my altar space. This exceeded my expectations in terms of beauty and quality. The wood feels alive in a way ceramic doesn't.

Frequently Asked Questions
How to properly burn Tibetan incense sticks?
- Angled Ignition: Light the end of the incense stick at a 45-degree angle with a lighter or match, and let the flame burn for approximately 7 seconds.
- Flame Control: Gently blow out the flame. The incense should produce a glowing red ember and a tendril of smoke, and will continue to burn on its own.
- Placement: Be sure to burn incense on a heatproof, non-flammable holder only. Burn incense in a well-ventilated room, away from flammable materials, and never leave incense burning unattended or in near children, pets, or a draft.
Note: If it extinguishes halfway, just re-ignite the stick and allow the flame to burn long enough to create a small flame.
What makes your incense different from regular incense?
Our incense is rooted in Tibetan tradition and powered by real herbs used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Each blend is handcrafted in Lhasa from wild ingredients harvested at high altitudes, following centuries-old methods that honor both the spiritual and medicinal properties of smoke. It’s not just for fragrance — it’s functional, therapeutic, and intentional.

Lotus Wisdom Wooden Tibetan Incense Holder
Sacred Wood. Sacred Symbol. A Holder That Belongs on Every Altar.
Most incense holders do one job: they hold the incense. The Lotus Wisdom Wooden Tibetan Incense Holder does something more. Handmade from Bodhi wood — the sacred wood of the tree under which the Buddha attained enlightenment — and carved with the lotus, one of the most revered symbols in Tibetan spiritual tradition, this is a holder that brings as much meaning to the space as the incense it rests. It is the object that completes a ritual altar and turns a daily burn into something worth pausing over.
Bodhi Wood. Lotus Carving. Handmade in Four Designs — Built for the Practice, Not Just the Shelf.
The Lotus Wisdom Holder is constructed from genuine Bodhi wood, chosen not only for its warm, natural grain and durability but for what it represents — a wood with deep roots in Buddhist devotion and Tibetan spiritual tradition. Each holder is handmade and carved with the lotus motif, a symbol of purity, awakening, and the journey from darkness into light that sits at the heart of Tibetan and Buddhist philosophy. With a slot that accommodates incense sticks up to 5mm thick, it fits all Lhasa Remedy incense sticks as well as most standard Tibetan incense formats. Available in four unique carved designs, each carrying its own visual character while sharing the same sacred material and craftsmanship. On a meditation altar, beside a bed, on a home office desk, or wrapped as a gift — this holder belongs wherever Tibetan incense burns.
Sacred Wood. Meaningful Carving. Handmade Detail. Four Designs to Choose From.
- Bodhi wood construction — made from one of the most sacred woods in Buddhist and Tibetan spiritual tradition; the material itself carries meaning
- Lotus carving — the lotus is a symbol of purity, spiritual awakening, and resilience; carved into every holder as an intentional design element, not mere decoration
- Handmade — each piece is made by hand, not mass-produced; the craftsmanship shows in the finish and the detail of every carved line
- Fits incense up to 5mm thick — compatible with all Lhasa Remedy incense sticks and most standard Tibetan incense formats without any adapters needed
- Four unique carved designs — each with its own visual character; choose the one that resonates with your space, your altar, or the person you are gifting it to
Meditation Altar. Daily Practice. Thoughtful Gift. The Right Holder for Every Space.
Place it on your meditation altar as the foundation of the incense-burning ritual — the act of resting the stick in a holder carved from sacred Bodhi wood becomes its own moment of intention before the flame is even lit. Keep it on a home office desk or bedside table where you burn incense daily, and let the lotus carving serve as a quiet visual anchor throughout the session. Set it as the centrepiece of an altar arrangement alongside a singing bowl, a mala, and a tube of Lhasa Remedy incense — the natural grain of the wood and the carved lotus unify everything around it. Give it as a gift alongside any Lhasa Remedy incense tube or set, and let the recipient choose the design that speaks to them most — the four options make it easy to find one that matches any space or personal aesthetic. For anyone who burns Tibetan incense regularly, the right holder is the detail that makes every single burn feel intentional rather than improvised. The Lotus Wisdom Holder is that detail.
Sacred Material. Handmade Craft. Designed to Complete the Ritual, Not Just Hold the Stick.
- Bodhi wood — a wood revered across Buddhist and Tibetan tradition; choosing it for this holder was a deliberate act of meaning, not convenience
- Lotus carving — one of Tibet's most enduring spiritual symbols, hand-carved into every piece with the same care taken in the incense it holds
- Handmade construction — no two pieces are identical; the variation that comes from handwork is part of what makes each holder genuinely unique
- Compatible with all Lhasa Remedy incense — designed by the same brand, to fit the same sticks, as part of a complete and considered daily ritual practice
- Four designs available — so the holder you choose is as personal and intentional as the blend you burn in it
- Suitable for gifting — paired with any Lhasa Remedy incense tube or set, it makes one of the most thoughtful and complete ritual gifts available
- Part of the Lhasa Remedy collection — a brand that brings authentic Tibetan tradition into every dimension of your practice, from the incense itself to the holder it rests in
Your Altar Has the Incense. Now Give It the Holder It Deserves.
Add the Lotus Wisdom Wooden Tibetan Incense Holder to your cart today and complete your daily ritual with a piece of sacred Bodhi wood, a hand-carved lotus, and the craftsmanship that makes every burn feel exactly as intentional as it should.
